I highly recommend Tiffany of Zoe's Birth Place. She is absolutely amazing! I immediately felt a close connection with her during our initial phone conversation. Upon officially meeting her in person, my husband and I both knew we wanted to hire her immediately.
I met with several other midwives in the area, and Tiffany is the only one that didn't make me feel like just another client to them. She has the warmest, kindest, and most beautiful soul. She's the most knowledgeable that I've found when it comes to midwifery and has a plethora of useful information for pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
It was important to me that my midwife knew how to suture a deep tear because I had heard from other home birth moms that they needed to transfer to the hospital after a home birth just for stitching or wait for someone else to come stitch them after birth. I did end up needing stitches and I'm glad Tiffany could take care of it immediately after birth. During my birth, she was 100% attentive to me. She wasn't distracted by devices or other things, she was wholly focused on me and my needs and ensuring my baby was okay and delivered safely.
My little guy was stuck in a couple of compromising positions with shoulder dystocia (both shoulders), but she knew exactly what to do to help me get him out and getting started on his breathing. He is doing amazing and thriving at 9lbs 13oz! She came prepared as well with a blend of healing herbs that have helped me tremendously through recovery. Since giving birth to my son on May 27th, she has come to check on us (vitals, weight checks, stitches, etc) multiple times. She'll be with us periodically at least 6 weeks postpartum, but is happy to be available to me beyond that if I ever need her.
If you're looking to do a home birth naturally, you will absolutely feel safe in Tiffany's care. I love her holistic approach as natural remedies are so important to me when it comes to health and wellness vs modern medicine. She has 15 years of midwifery experience and has delivered nearly 600 babies, with a hospital transfer rate of only 3%. I'm beyond happy that I found her, I have all the trust and confidence in the world for her. You will not regret choosing her to be your midwife!

Tiffany has been my 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙚 4 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 now and I wouldn't hire anyone else. For starters, I am so glad we moved to Texas just in time to have our 4th baby. Otherwise we were making a month long trip just to have Tiffany as my midwife.
She has an 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚 that is a gift. When she feels for baby and checks on my health there is something that shows she not only cares but can really feel the baby and their needs from the inside. She also has learned, because 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, my body and what I need.
Each delivery has brought me knew knowledge of 𝙏𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚 in labor and delivery. She knows how to 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 and can do it while baby and me are bonding. She has the capability to 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 if they are struggling to breathe. She has the knowledge on delivering a baby that has their 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 around their neck 3 times. And my most recent delivery showed her skills to 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖. She also carries the 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 for bleeding too much and rh negative mamas. 𝙎𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 to provide a safe and healthy pregnancy, labour and delivery for baby and mom.
When I found out I was pregnant I began to pray for God to lead me to the right midwife for a home water birth. I had done one before but moved from out of state so I wasn’t sure where to go. After searching I found Tiffany and immediately went with her. She is very knowledgeable and sweet and kind and always willing to listen and give advice! I love being able to make choices about tests and not forced to do things that I am uncomfortable with
Jessalyn Marie Martinez was born October 31st with Tiffany and her assistant. They helped me keep a calm quiet relaxing environment and me and my husband to catch our own daughter in a home water birth just as I wanted. The after care was amazing! I appreciate everything Tiffany and her assistant did for me and my family during and after labor!

In the months leading up to the birth my wife Becky was provided with excellent prenatal care, and as the birth approached, we felt well prepared to welcome the baby. When the final pushing began, I was the one there to receive my new daughter (under the watchful eye of two trained midwives). Without a doubt, one of the greatest moments of my life was when I looked down and saw my baby’s face emerge and then carefully guided her out of the birth canal and into her mother’s waiting arms.

I met her 7 years ago and she has helped me deliver 3 of my children. Something to know about me is when I am in labor my husband is my main and best support. I realized what a gem Tiffany was during my first labor because she would match what my husband was doing. For example, if he was rubbing my foot one way she would match it for the other foot.I am very thankful for the skills she has and her willingness to let the Lord lead her in her work! She has been an incredible blessing to me and my family.
